ECCC AGM 2024 Results

Hello everyone,

We are pleased to announce that the 33 deacon nominees and 7 elder nominees across 4 congregations were all successfully voted in, with a support of > 83%. The 2025 ECCC Budget has also been approved with 98% of the votes. Voter turnout this year was 80%. Thank you for everyone who participated in this year’s Annual General Meeting!

The ECCC Annual General Meeting this year will be on October 27th, 2024 (Joint Service at 10AM and AGM right after). The agenda for the AGM will include: 

  • ·Election of 2025-2026 Deacons / Elders 

  • Budget 2025

  • Vision 2025

Relevant AGM documents can be accessed by ECCC members (using your declared email address), and will be posted at this link. 

There will be townhall meetings held in person at church on September 28th @ 7PM and September 29th @ 1PM for people with any questions.

Voting will take place in person, however we encourage using the online proxy ballots to vote ahead of time. These proxy voter links will be made available from October 6th - 20th, and will be posted later.

Membership Declaration 2024

ECCC Bylaws state that all members (baptized at E3C or transferred members) must declare their membership to a particular congregation annually. Those who have 𝟱𝟬%+ participation in the ECCC regular functions in the last 12 months are eligible to declare (to be confirmed by the deacon teams and congregational pastor(s) of the declared congregation).


Declaration period is from June 1st - 30th. DEADLINE for declaration is June 30th.

ECCC Leadership Series May 25-26, 2024

Dear ECCC,

Rev. Daniel Im (Beulah Alliance Church) will be coming as a guest speaker on the weekend of May 25-26 as part of ECCC’s ‘Leadership Series’. He will speak on the following themes over that weekend (in English; translations available):

  • Saturday, May 25th @5:30pm: “Pursue His Kingdom” (Live translations available in Cantonese (on-stage) and Mandarin (headphones); located in the Sanctuary)

  • Sunday, May 26th @9:30am: “Focus on the Interested” (Live translations available in Cantonese (on-stage) and Mandarin (headphones); located in the Sanctuary)

  • Sunday, May 26th @11:15am: “Live an Incarnate Life” (Live headphone translation available in Mandarin; located in the Auditorium)

Dr. Enoch Wong will hold a series of special seminars titled "Seize the Opportunity; Embrace the Future: An outlook of the Chinese Churches in Canada" this weekend (April 5-6, 2024). ECCC 40th Anniversary Banquet

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Friends and Honored Guests,

It is our pleasure to invite you to ECCC’s 40th Anniversary Banquet on October 15th, 2023 at the Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre located at 4440 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB.

For the past four decades, ECCC has strived to build a Christian community by reaching the people in Edmonton and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. By God's grace, ECCC has grown from a single congregation to four congregations of approximately 1000 people. Over the years we have organized over 50 local and overseas short term missions and partnered with many missionaries and Christian organizations to advance gospel work locally and globally. This is possible only by the grace of God!

As we mark this significant milestone, we thank God for His faithfulness in leading us for the past 40 years and we look forward to His continued guidance as we strive towards our Vision 2025 “One church for God’s glory through life - sharing discipleship”.
