+ We believe that the entire Bible is the Word of God

The Bible is written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Mark 13:31). Therefore, the Bible is our absolute authority in all matters of faith and conduct (John 8:31-32; 20:31; Acts 20:32).

+ We believe that the one living and true God exists in three Persons

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being equal in their divine perfections. They execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption (Genesis 1:1, 26; John 1:1-3; 4:24; Matthew 28:19; Romans 1:19-20; Ephesians 4:4-6).

+ We believe that God created man in His image

(Genesis 1:26-27; 5:2). But man sinned (Genesis 3) and, as a consequence, all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Psalm 51:5; Romans 5:19), are sinners by choice (Romans 3:23) and, therefore, under condemnation (Genesis 2:17; 3:19; Romans 6:23).

+ We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God

(John 1:1-2; John 3:16-18; Philippians 2:6). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18, 20, 23; Luke 1:26-38). Jesus came in flesh to save people from their sins (Matthew 1:21; John 1:14). He died on the cross (John 19:18; 1 Peter 2:24), and in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Romans 5:6-8; Ephesians 1:7). Jesus Christ was raised to life from the dead (1 Timothy 3:16; Romans 6:9-10) and was taken into heaven, where He is seated and interceding for us at the right hand of God (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 1:3; 7:24-25). This same Jesus will come back to judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:11; Hebrews 9:28; 1 Peter 4:5).

+ We believe that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus

There is no other name given by God to men by which they may be saved (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). We believe that it is by grace we have been saved, through faith - and this not from ourselves, for it is the gift of God - not by works so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe that if we confess with our lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9).

+ We believe that the universal church is a living spiritual body...

...of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members (Romans 8:9; Ephesians 2:19-22; 5:23). We believe that the local church, consisting of a community of believers who profess faith in Jesus Christ, is organized and committed to carry out the functions of worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the preaching of the gospel (Romans 6:3-5; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:23-25; Matthew 22:37-40; 28:18-20), all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
