When parenting is elevated to a calling, rather than a role out of which we seek to live out our calling, our focus will shift to our personal performance—as evidenced by the performance of our children. This two session seminar seeks to redirect our focus so that our parenting can once again be God honouring and a joy.

Shame in Parenting Apr 13 & 20 (Rm TBD)

Honor-shame is part of the Asian cultural paradigm.  Many of us know this as we grew up in such an environment.  How does this worldview approach parenting and how does that impact the children who grow up in this environment? What does the Bible have to say about this?  How does the gospel of Jesus Christ speak to an honor-shame worldview?
