Child Dedication

We recognize that faith comes to a child not through a dedication service but through the hearing of the Word of God.  Scripture therefore instructs parents to raise up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord, with the desire that, one day, their children will confess and embrace Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The dedication of children is a three-fold covenant.  First, it is a covenant Christian parents make to God as they promise to teach their children to love and honor the LORD through submission to His Word.  Second, it is a covenant of parents to children as they promise to love them unconditionally and be a gospel witness to them. Finally, it represents a covenant of the church body to support parents in the task of raising children in the faith.

Child dedication is planned twice a year (May and November).  Application forms can be sent to any of the English Pastors.
